This tender, juicy, delicious, and versatile pulled pork recipe prepared in a slow cooker is super easy, just remember, slow and low. Sauce it (or not) and then pile onto buns, mound it over nachos, roll into burritos, spoon over rice, stir into recipes, or simply eat it straight-up. You will love it.
Good for about 6-8 servings.
Pulled Pork Ingredients:
3 lbs Pork Butt
¼ cup Water
2 cups of your favorite barbecue sauce - optional (I like Sweet Baby Ray's)
Instructions:
Trim the excess fat from the Pork.
Sprinkle entire contents of the Modern Masala’s Masala BBQ Rub onto Pork and pat on.
Place in slow cooker and cook covered on low heat for 6-8 hours.
Use two forks to shred the meat apart. Remove any extra fat as you go.
Optional – Add your favorite BBQ Sauce and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
Serve warm. Refrigerate any leftovers once cooled.
Enjoy!
We would love to hear about your variations.
